We were at friend’s daughter’s 1st birthday party last night.  It was held at Burger King, Al Sadd and it was a costume party.  Originally Xiane was supposed to wear her Belle Christmas gown, the one that we got her as Christmas gift last year.  But on Thursday, her new Snow White and Aurora costumes that her dad bought online arrived, just in time for the party.  As soon as we got home from that darn (my apologies for the word but it was an event that lacked preparation, information dissemination- in short just a waste of our precious time) “2016 Public Lunch” on Thursday night, Xiane tried on both gowns.  Xiane was persistent on wearing the Aurora gown while her dad and I insisted that she wears the Snow White.  We fell in love with it the moment that we laid eyes on it.  It was a little girls costume but it was classy and elegant.  But Xiane had made up her mind.  She really wanted the Aurora gown.
