Got that invite from “Starbucks” on Facebook that says “First 200,000 Attendants get a Free $200 Starbucks Gift Voucher”? Stop and close that browser tab immediately. Seems too good of a deal and one should know better than clicking anything that promises a free $200 certificate. It is a scam to get your details and maybe generate enough clicks for a sites’ ad campaign, not necessarily Starbucks’.

The “First 200,000 Attendants get a Free $200 Starbucks Gift Voucher” event circulating in internet is now attracting more than 56000 sign ups within the last few days. Check the info in internet and get to know this event was started by site: w w w .starbucksgiftvoucher.c o m and this site is previously owned by someone by the name of James Smith in Albania, but it was expired just yesterday, which means the new owner of this site has launched this spam activity immediately after registering for the domain.

Starbucks’ fame and NPS will go down greatly within days if the fake event goes evil and every participant of the fake event demands real payment (of $50, $100, $200…) from the real Starbucks!!! The scam gang choose Friday night to start their activity because HQ office of Starbucks is not operating on Saturday, and this make them able to cheat people without getting stop for the next two days!
