Vodafone Qatar announced yesterday that it would launch the Apple iPhone 3GS tomorrow.
With this launch Vodafone Qatar will become the only official provider of the iPhone in the country.
The iPhone 3GS mobile phone is the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet, packed with incredible new features including improved speed and performance – up to twice as fast as iPhone 3G – with longer battery life, a high-quality 3 megapixel autofocus camera, easy-to-use video recording and hands-free voice control, according to a Vodafone statement.
“The launch of the iPhone 3GS is yet another example of how we’re making a difference to everyone in Qatar” said Vodafone Qatar CEO Grahame Maher.
The iPhone will be available in stores and online with Vodafone’s full range of Flexi plans, which offer the customer any combination of services up to the value of the given plan, regardless of whether the customer uses Freedom or Red payment methods.
Customers will also get a free Welcome Pack (worth QR25) and one month’s Flexi 110 plan on Freedom or Red when they purchase their iPhone in any Vodafone store before the 10th of January 2010.
