Ministries and other government departments and authorities will observe Eid Al Fitr holidays from September 28 to October 6, according to a circular issued yesterday by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, H E Sheikh Nasser bin Mohamed bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.

Public institutions will observe Eid Al Fitr holidays from September 28 to October 5.

Qatar Central Bank (QCB), other banks and financial institutions working under the control of the QCB, the Doha Securities Market and Qatar Financial Markets Authority will observe Eid Al Fitr holidays for three days. The QCB governor will notify the dates, the circular said.

personal note: Really good for Public/government employees. However, other "government" Oil and Gas companies only get 3-4 days of holidays to enjoy.
