Back to School

We only have this weekend to spend before school opens for the 3rd term on the 6th of April.  I can’t say that I am excited.  I guess, I just loved having our break so much that I wish it could be like that much longer.  But such is the life of a mother whose child starts going to school.  I have no complaints.  Having a good daughter like Xianelle makes it all worthwhile.  Besides, it is comforting to know that at least my daughter is excited to go back to school.  I guess, it’s just a matter of getting used to waking up really early and driving every single day, again.

I am glad though, because I was able to accomplish a lot of things during our 2-week holiday.  Chores that had been held off for sometime were finally done.  The flat is spick and span, clutter-free; well ate least for a few more weeks.  Xiane and I were able to spend some special bonding time together, went malling just the two of us twice.  She was able to play with some friends.  But most of all, we feel refreshed and recharged again.

So I guess it’s not so bad that the term break is over after all.  Here’s looking forward to a wonderful school term for my daughter and our much-awaited homecoming in June.

Thanks! Glad you liked our site although didn’t mean to surprise you that way. Xiane loves Nellie a lot too. She’s been telling me how Nellie adores their new classmate but we tell her that it’s good to have more friends. See u!
