We got the Wii

14 Feb 2007We got the Nintendo Wii that I was lucky enough to buy from Sears.com 2 weeks ago. Mavis has been playing for more than an hour and she actually likes it. She went crazy over boxing, trying to get the feel for bowling, gave up on Golf, felt like Sharapova in Tennis and was almost good in Baseball. She still is not finished playing Tennis as I type.
The only games we have at the moment are the ones that were included in Wii Sports (see above) but so far, they’re entertaining plus you get to sweat and get in shape at the same time. We only have one remote at the moment as my other remote that I ordered from Nintendo.com didn’t arrive yet. I’m sure it’s going to be more exciting to play once we get the other Wiimote. This would be fun if you actually have 4 Wiimotes and have the whole family playing together!
However, I posted this Wii in one of the classifieds this afternon and I already got a call from an interested buyer. Why did I post it? Well, I wasn’t really that sure if the Wii was really worth buying so I placed it there just in case I do decide not to keep it. Anyway, the guy might get it on Friday night.
Now Mavis is actually asking me to order another one right away which would be ours to keep. The problem with this is that Nintendo Wii Consoles (Nintendo says not Wiis – though people usually say Wiis) are still rare in B&M stores but mostly online. I need to keep a watchful eye again and hopefully I can order another one this weekend.
